POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Contact Solutions, Inc. is looking for a knowledgeable and capable sales individual with a proven track record of managing a sales organization. Ideally, the director will have knowledge of the IVR industry. He/she must be focused on meeting corporate sales, revenue, operational and strategic goals as well as the professional growth, development and success of their team members.
The Director of Sales is responsible for sales generation and growth within the marketplace. The director will manage a team of inside and outside sales professionals and report directly to the CEO.
The responsibilities of the Director of Sales are to:
- Create an atmosphere of success and empowerment within the sales organization, motivating the sales team to accomplish stretch goals
- Develop pipeline analysis for new revenue tracking for Chief Financial Officer using Salesforce.com
- Work with the sales team to maintain a mature sales management approach, including: setting stretch but obtainable objectives, defining and implementing winning sales strategies, designing an effective performance management process, building out sufficient pipeline and providing accurate multi-quarter forecasting
- Guide the development of effective training and professional development programs for the sales force in collaboration with marketing and other departments
- Work cross-departmentally (e.g., with marketing, finance) to develop effective internal relationships and smooth processes that drive sales success
- Work closely with the department heads to plan sales strategies that meet services revenue targets, enable winning large statewide opportunities and help ensure client success
- Stay in close touch with clients and the market overall to provide important feedback on marketing, product strategy, client support and other operational areas to maintain our competitive edge and advantage in the market
- Represent CSI’s sales organization at national conferences, client meetings and other public forums
The Director of Sales has to take on a leadership role, and therefore his performance influences that of the entire Company. As such, the demand for proven and seasoned sales and business leadership is critical.
Skills
- High degree of personal integrity
- Experience managing $30+ million in revenue
- Must be extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the sales management process and associated sales generation, customer needs identification, personnel leadership and HR procedures and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology related area required. Advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of professional sales management experience, with 2+ years in a director or management role
- Experience selling disruptive software to P&L owners
- Align with management on a clear and understandable vision for the Contact Solutions, Inc. Sales organization
- Proven track record of providing leadership to a large enterprise solutions sales force with a history of delivering exceptional results
- Ability to collaborate with others in a fast paced, action-oriented environment
- Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse national sales force with experience recruiting and retaining high-quality enterprise-class solutions sales professionals
- Excellent time management, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Strong listening, communication, and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of and experience using Solution Selling methodology
- Ability to quickly gain knowledge of the company’s business model, services, practices and client environments; fast learner!
- Proven ability to establish strategic alliances with key decision makers with major clients, combined with the ability to model for direct reports and sales team to do the same
- Meaningful network among the technology and enterprise software/SAAS community
- Extremely high energy, work ethic and stamina to perform consistently and at a high level in a very demanding environment
- Must be currently based in the Washington DC area or willing to relocate; and be able to travel 40 – 50% of the time
- Knowledge of current trends and practices of telecommunications/IVR industry

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for successfully selling Contact Solutions IVR services in a specific vertical industry and/or defined geographic territory. The position reports directly to the Vice President, Sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and properly qualify business opportunities
- Capture complete profile information about each prospect for analysis
- Develop and schedule outside sales presentations
- Deliver outside sales presentations to executive levels of organizations and prepare formal proposals
- Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making process, and overcome objections to closure.
- Manage interactions, follow ups, etc. throughout full sales cycle
- Build strong client relationships and ensure smooth hand-off to support
- Collaborate with marketing on identifying and opening new territories
- Research trends affecting territory
- Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: BA/BS degree; MBA is a plus
Experience: 8-12 years professional selling experience in high-tech or service related industry with a proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas. Experience with developing partner networks and a track record of successful year over year revenue growth through the channels a plus.
Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for interfacing with current Contact Solutions Partners to promote the sales of CSI’s shared call automation services through the development & support of new qualified partners and resellers. The position works closely with the field sales force to successfully identify and contract new name customer opportunities sold through the CSI partner network. Once established the position is responsible for the development and management of those channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages and grows existing partner relationships to drive incremental revenue
- Prospects and develops new potential partners by researching and identifying new prospects, following up on leads and qualifying new accounts and working with the CSI sales team on specific partner sales opportunities
- Maintains current and accurate information regarding all leads, contacts, partners and prospective partners and customers
- Delivers sales presentations to executive levels of organizations and assists in the preparation of formal proposals and responses
- Leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision-making process and strategies to overcome objections to closure. Manages the partner contract and training requirements
- Manage interactions, follow ups, etc. throughout full sales cycle
- Builds strong client relationships and ensures smooth hand-off to support
- Participates in marketing program planning, development, execution and measurement to ensure that programs succeed according to plan
- Monitors customer satisfaction and elevates issues of dissatisfaction for quick resolution
- Set priorities and schedules to meet established goals; meets commitments consistently

The Java Developer is responsible for the development of customer data integrations, platform capabilities and services in support of delivery of hosted IVR (interactive voice response systems) and speech applications. The position reports directly to the Manager, Software Development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop customer data integration software
- Design and develop Java, HTTP servlets and applications
- Design and develop tools and reusable frameworks
- Maintain existing customer and platform Java software
- Perform SQL stored procedure design and development using JDBC
- Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/IT field
Experience: Experience with Java; HTTP Servlets; SQL Server or Oracle integration using JDBC; Client-side Web Service Development; XML, LOG4J; integrating Java apps via JDBC into SQL Server; CORBA and STRUTS.
3 years exp as a Programmer Analyst/Software Engineer or related occupation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in web application development on Weblogic platform
- Proficient in data integration technologies and problem solving
- Proficient in integrating client-side web service applications
- Proficient in integrating Java applications via JDBC into SQL Server
